One of the two main objectives of this project is sustainability, land stewardship and environmental justice. We can't have food access and grow healthy food without a healthy environment. The second being healthy food access. In that regard, this space will be an example of community engagement and sustainability for the Twin Ports community. The soil we are having delivered is compost enriched, but we will have a compost area to continually improve the soil organically and reduce garden waste throughout the years.
